Cable Industry Veteran Bob Gold Named SCTE Foundation
Board Member and Cable TV Pioneer

Honors Reflect Bob Gold & Associates Expertise in Public Relations
for the Cable and Telecommunications Industries

LOS ANGELES – June 19, 2007 – Bob Gold & Associates, Inc., a full service public relations and marketing agency, was once again recognized as a leader in communications for the cable and telecommunications industries when the company’s principal, Bob Gold, received two of the cable industry’s most prestigious honors from the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) and Cable TV Pioneers.

The SCTE recently appointed Gold as the fifth member of the prominent SCTE Foundation Board of Directors. An SCTE member since 1997, Gold is the first additional member since the initial foundation board was appointed in June 2005.

Additionally, Gold was selected as a member of the Cable TV Pioneers Class of 2007 for his work in cable. Gold joined an impressive roster of cable executives for the induction ceremony on May 7 during The Cable Show in Las Vegas. He also is a member of Cable Positive’s Programming & Production Committee and co-chairs the Southern California chapter. He continues to serve on the Steering Committee for the CTAM Ad Agency Council.
